Discipline is an integral part of the learning process. To develop self-control a student must be trained to bridle emotions and impulses, to live in harmony with others, to respect family traditions, to keep the laws of the country and to obey the commandments of God.
All students shall be in the school premises a few minutes before the morning bell and take part in the solemn morning assembly in an orderly and respectful manner.
In the afternoon students should be in their classrooms at the first bell and maintain silence. Classes will commence at the second bell.
No behaviour affecting the discipline of the school will be permitted. Students shall keep silence and decorum in the class rooms and corridors. They shall not leave their class rooms or enter any other class room without permission.
Speaking in English is compulsory at the school, in school bus and while waiting at the bus-stop to board the bus.
The school premises and class rooms must be kept clean and tidy.
Any damage caused to the property of the school or of the other students must be reported to the Principle and will have to be compensated.
Students shall be responsible for the safe custody of their belongings. It is suggested that their names be inscribed on articles like lunch boxes, school bags and umbrellas. Lost articles deposited in the school office must be claimed within a month.
It is not necessary for students to bring sweets to school on their birthday, if they want to do so they must bring sweets without plastic wrappers.
Every student shall endeavour to keep up the high standard of the school by excelling in studies, good manners and deportment. Politeness and courtesy in speech and conduct as well as cleanliness and grace of person are to be cherished.
Students are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in school but also for their general behaviour outside.
It is not advisable for students to have too much money or expensive articles in their possession. The school will not be responsible for the loss of such articles.
No meetings, parties or organized school activities should be arranged without the approval of the Principal. All collections must be made through the office.
Mobile phones will not be permitted for the student on the campus. If found in possession will be confiscated. Students are not allowed to bring CDs to School.
No vehicles will be allowed to enter the school compound during school hours.
All students are sincerely exhorted to cultivate the habit of morning and evening prayer. Catholic students are specially advised to assist regularly at Holy Mass and frequent the sacraments and thus be witnesses to Christ in their daily lives. Catholic parents would do well to encourage their children in this matter.
